Our thoughts and prayers are with all who suffered from the destruction of Hurricane Katrina.

Many of our employees and physicians have contacted us, and we rejoice with the news of each family found safe.

To date, we have had no reports of loss of life. Many staff members evacuated to safety, and we ask them to contact us by email, if possible until telephone service is restored.

The personal losses suffered by our staff members have been devastating; we are currently working to establish a restricted fund within our hospital foundation to assist our employees to sustain them until our hospital is functional. Please consult our website for updates and current information.
