Project to begin Jan. 2011
Hancock Medical and Roy Anderson Corp Contractors signed the contract on Tuesday, Dec. 21, for the project that will reconstruct the first floor at Hancock Medical.
The entire first floor will be reconstructed one department at a time in the multi-million dollar project. Hospital services will not be interrupted by the construction. While a specific department is being worked on, a temporary location will be set up for that particular service and hospital employees won’t miss a beat.
Construction is set to begin in early 2011, more than five years after Hurricane Katrina. |
