 Unrestricted Gifts are used to fund capital improvements at the growing hospital. Currently, the Foundation pledged $1 million support of an $8 million outpatient expansion and renovation project. The emergency, surgery and dining departments will be enlarged and more convenient access will be provided to outpatient services. There are many ways to be a part of our progress, and several naming opportunities in various parts of the medical center. Donors will be recognized in these areas for generations to come. Outside the main lobby the Spirit of Life Plaza will also feature names of supporters.
This tile mosaic mural by regionally acclaimed artist Elizabeth Veglia was obtained through a matching grant from the Mississippi Arts Commission. It is one of more than 300 pieces of local art obtained by the HMC Foundation.
