 | Education: | High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred degree in HIM. |
| Experience: | At least 1 year experience in a hospital performing coding with ECD-9-CM and CPT 4 Coding. Previous experience with computerized encoder and grouper desired. |
| Special Skills: | Computer skills and medical terminology. |
| License Required: | Preferred RHIA, RHIT, CCA or CCS credentials. |
