The above wage range reflects the minimum, midpoint and maximum hourly rate for this position. New employees are hired between the minimum and midpoint of this range. The initial wage offered will be based on qualifications and experience.
    Qualifications:
    Education:High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred degree in HIM.
    Experience:At least 1 year experience in a hospital performing coding with ECD-9-CM and CPT 4 Coding. Previous experience with computerized encoder and grouper desired.
    Special Skills:Computer skills and medical terminology.
    License Required:Preferred RHIA, RHIT, CCA or CCS credentials.
